So I woke up to the news that Helsinki won the 2017 Worldcon bid (It hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, but they had over 50 % of the votes). Woot! I will be definitely be attending.

The collection and the novella has titles that I love and that fit them really well. I am going to sit on them until I am done with the edits.

I posted a snippet from an idea that is bouncing around in my head on twitter earlier today. It is set in Rhoswyr, just like Frosthold is. And no, I have no idea when it will be written.  My writing schedule is pretty full, and I am also prioritizing the Portal Universe books.

“There are something bad coming.”

The dryad paused and looked down at small grass spirit. “Bad how?”

The spirit shrugged. “All I know is that it makes my roots crawl.”

The dryad sighed.
