Writing like the wind

I am doing Nano, and I am writing like the wind. No, really. I am. I have had several days with 2000 words, and couple of more with 1500 words. And it is all because of the outline that I wrote. It is pretty detailed, but not too detailed. But it is doing its job, pretty nicely. It allows me to write a first draft, without worrying too much about not knowing what is going to happen.

I am the first to admit that there are days when my brain says stop, you have written 700 words, and that is enough. 🙂 It is possible, that today is going to be one of those days since I wrote 1800 words yesterday,  one of those “Oh I am on track to reach 1500 words, so lets write 450 words in 30 minutes” things.  Which have happened once or twice, but it is rare. More common is what happened this morning: 1000 words in 90 minutes.

Anyway, the plan for this weekend, is to have a writing marathon, since I am in dad’s empty apartment, and all I need to do is to reheat food. 🙂

So far, I am very pleased with my word count. I want to have a bit more written today, maybe another 500 words or so since I am aiming for 5 000 for the weekend.
